Dr. Yanni Malliaris, Bsc, PhD, of the Hellenic Bipolar Organisation and the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London, is spearheading an online study called “Energy, Activity, and Mood Across the World.” Dr. Malliaris says they had about 4,000 participants as of mid-May and are shooting for 10,000.

The study introduction says, “We are looking at how changes in mood, energy and activity levels affect the behaviour of people across the world. Instead of looking simply at negative emotional states, we are primarily interested in positive mood states and their impact in people’s social life and work. If you decide to participate you will be asked to complete 5 brief web-questionnaires and provide some simple demographic information (age, gender, country etc.).”

Since 59% of psychotherapists missed the correct diagnosis of bipolar disorder do your part and Take the Survey to help these researchers toward their goal of improving diagnostic testing for bipolar disorder.
