Wow. That clip was really something. Even with your preface, I was completely taken aback. Thank you for sharing it.
I put this interview on my Pinterest board when I found it. You have to think De Niro has someone in his life with BP (or did). The way he couldn’t even speak was so touching. He was amazing in the movie, as was Cooper. I *was* disappointed in the easy, Hollywood ending, though. Ain’t like that out here in the trenches, folks!
Right? RIGHT?
Hi, Sandy. I had tears in my eyes, too. The more you poke around, the more you realize how many people have been touched by this disease. I’m wondering if Jennifer Lawrence has had someone close to her experience BP, too. Maybe it’s me, but her SAG acceptance speech may have hinted at it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urXvx34NV2A (I so loved the part where she said Russell made the movie so his son wouldn’t feel so alone. What a good Dad
